Laneige and Biodance lead a growing market for serum mists that merge targeted skincare ingredients with a spray format. These products address dryness and irritation without the friction of traditional creams. The category has expanded beyond niche Korean beauty brands to include luxury houses like Chanel.

The formulation relies on active compounds such as ceramides, peptides, and collagen. These ingredients hydrate and support the skin barrier. The mist format allows users to apply moisture without rubbing, which suits sensitive skin or those applying makeup. Many products feature milky textures that require shaking before use to disperse the active agents evenly.

Korean beauty brands hold a dominant position in this segment. Their long-standing focus on lightweight hydration aligns with the mist delivery system. Aestura’s ATOBARRIER365 Cream Mist costs £18 and uses a high-pressure emulsifying process to disperse ceramides. This method eliminates the need for shaking before application.

Biodance offers a Collagen Peptide Jelly Serum Mist for £11.99. The product combines peptides, collagen, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. It functions as a pore-smoothing agent and a refresher over makeup. Dr Althea sells a 345 Relief Cream Mist for £12.20 that balances water and cream in a single spray. It contains rice bran water, panthenol, and hyaluronic acid to soothe redness.

Laneige’s Cream Skin Cerapeptide Mist retails for £16. It delivers ceramides, peptides, and white leaf tea water. One customer with combination skin noted the product adds life to dry patches. They also found the mister spray level appropriate and the larger bottle size useful for travel. Haruharu Wonder provides a Black Rice Probiotics Barrier NAD+ Serum Mist for £19. This product blends ceramides, probiotics, squalane, and Korean black rice extract.

Chanel enters the market with a high-end option priced at £94. The N°1 De Chanel Red Camellia Serum-in-Mist features a pebble-shaped bottle. It contains red camellia, camellia oil, and camellia leaf buds. The formula leaves an invisible finish that does not disrupt makeup or add greasy texture.

The timing of this product surge coincides with seasonal weather changes. Cold outdoor air and warm indoor heating create a dual challenge for skin hydration. Consumers seek portable solutions to maintain skin comfort throughout the day. These mists allow for frequent application at a desk or bedside without disrupting daily routines.
