Police took Calderon into custody the following day on Sunday, October 25, and filed charges for second-degree and third-degree assault.

Members are held to a high standard regarding integrity and are held accountable for actions that violate regulations or the law.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing. The suspension is effective immediately while the department reviews the case details and the outcome of the criminal charges.
