Families across Baltimore can head out for trick-or-treating Saturday evening under dry skies and comfortable temperatures. The forecast indicates highs in the mid to upper 60s during the day, with conditions staying dry all day.

Temperatures will remain in the upper 50s to 60s during the evening hours. Light winds are expected, creating ideal conditions for outdoor festivities. This follows a warm stretch of days leading up to the holiday, with Friday projected to be the hottest, reaching the mid to upper 70s and potentially 80 degrees in some neighborhoods.

A weak cold front moved through the region late Friday into early Saturday. This shift brought slightly cooler air just in time for the evening celebration. Thursday highs in the lower 70s set the stage for this gradual cooling trend.

The dry weather will not last long. Sunday marks the end of Daylight Saving Time, with clocks falling back one hour at 2 a.m. Sunrise will occur at approximately 6:34 a.m., and sunset is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, with scattered showers likely to develop later in the day.

A wetter pattern is expected to arrive during the first week of November. Multiple rounds of rain are possible, with Tuesday likely bringing some of the heaviest rainfall. This precipitation is expected to provide relief to Maryland, where drier-than-normal conditions have persisted.
