Adults in Baltimore can spend their Halloween evening at a free social event focused on meeting new people. The gathering takes place today at the Creative Arts Center within the Enoch Pratt Free Library's main branch.
The Afroamerican Department of the library organized the event to encourage social interaction among residents. Participants will engage in several icebreaker activities designed to facilitate conversation.
The program includes a game called Human Bingo and the classic Two Truths and a Lie. Attendees will also play Who Am I? and take part in speed friending sessions. During these segments, participants hold short, consecutive one-on-one conversations to connect with others.
Light snacks are available for attendees. The event concludes with the presentation of awards, including a prize for the best costume of the night.
The venue is located at 400 Cathedral Street in Baltimore. Admission costs nothing for any adult in the city. No registration is required to attend the festivities.
The library's main branch hosts this specific celebration as part of its community outreach efforts. The event runs throughout the day, offering a structured alternative to traditional Halloween parties for those looking to build local connections.
